When was the last time you asked yourself how you were feeling? What was the answer you gave? Did anything stand out? These are some of the questions I want to ask in a non-judgmental space that you can call your own, where you can talk about a range of emotions that could be affecting your day-to-day.
Originally from Mississippi, I have experienced injustices as a Black queer woman and have understood firsthand how hard it can be to navigate life alone, especially if you are a minority and/or a marginalized group.
For this reason, I am looking to work with communities in the LGBTQia+ community and in the Black community, children, adolescents, young adults, and anyone else who wants an accessible, supportive environment to discuss and process transitions, stressors, trauma, and related issues.
If you have the spoons (capacity) to journey on the path of therapy, I hope that I can be an aid or tool in your toolbox to help explore challenges such as time or stress management, processing trauma, or improving self-esteem, and trust that I will be there along the way with creative and unique ways that fit you and your long and short-term goals.
With my professional and academic experiences, I bring a unique real-world perspective to therapy. Through Adlerian treatment, I will help you strengthen your identity as a person while aligning your strengths with the purpose you need. In a holistic and unifying way, I can help you gain the insight you need to grow into your authentic self.
